2010 : Whitney Biennial

I am excited to announce my inclusion in the Whitney Biennial : 2010.  The show opens this coming week and runs through the end of May. I am really honored to be in an exhibition with so many artists that I look up to and admire and hope to get some autographs :)   Please let me know if you are in town for the opening events next week as we have a few parties planned and would love to see as many friends (or strangers) as possible.  Take care !!

Exhibition: MP3 vII @ the MoCP

I am excited to announce the opening of my current exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Photography here in Chicago, MP3 (Midwest Photographer’s Publication Project) Volume 2. The three person exhibition includes myself, John Opera and Stacia Yeapanis. I think it is great show (bias noted) and not to be missed.

Book Release: MP3 vII @ Art Chicago

I am excited to announce the release of my book published by Aperture Books as part of the MP3 series. It includes the original works of the Modifications series and is available beginning May 1st. It is part of a box set with artists John Opera and Stacia Yeapanis.  There is a book signing on May 2nd @ 1pm at Aperture’s Art Chicago booth.

Im excited to announce my upcoming solo exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago.  The exhibition is part of the museum’s UBS 12×12 series and runs throughout Februrary.  The opening celebration is Friday, February 6 from 6-10 pm. I also have a gallery/artist talk scheduled for February 17.

2. Troposphere, also a group exhibition featuring a great group of artists and curated by Sophie Lvoff.  @ the Hampshire House in Midtown NY.  Opening is Thursday, Dec 11 and runs through Jan 4.

FOAM Magazine Spread - Out Now

Out now is FOAM Magazine’s 16th Issue in which I am included.  Its a little hard to come by in the states but if you can find one, you should really check it out. It features 12 artist, one being myself, each as an accompanying interview/essay and each spread has around 6-10 images.  The magazine has become known for its amazing reproductions and quality papers that it uses.  And, its full of really amazing artists.
